Bayern Munich and Serge Gnabry reach a new, long-term agreement.
By signing a new, long-term deal with Bayern Munich, Serge Gnabry has put a stop to rumours about his future, according to The Athletic.
Some of the top teams in Europe expressed interest in Gnabry, 27, but he chose to stay with Bayern.
The signing of Gnabry's new contract is anticipated soon. His prior deal was set to end the following summer.
The Germany international has been an important member of the team since his return from a loan stint at Hoffenheim. He joined Bayern in 2017 from Werder Bremen.
Gnabry has 63 goals and four Bundesliga championships, two DFB Pokals, and one Champions League to his name in 171 games with Bayern.
Gnabry progressed through the ranks at Stuttgart and Arsenal, appearing in 10 league games for the north London team before leaving in 2016 for Werder Bremen. While on loan with West Bromwich Albion for the 2015–16 campaign, he only played in one Premier League game.
