Spurs make their sixth summer addition as the deal of Djed Spence is officially announced.
With the arrival of Djed Spence, Tottenham's success throughout the summer transfer window has continued. In order to bolster his squad in preparation for the 2022–23 season, Antonio Conte has already brought in Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, and Clement Lenglet.
And Spence has joined the newcomers after signing a five-year contract worth £12.5 million, with the potential for add-ons to bring the total to £20 million. Spence, a crucial member of Steve Cooper's promotion team at Middlesbrough, spent the 2017–18 season on loan at Nottingham Forest. The 21-year-old played in 41 Championship games and contributed to seven goals.
This brought the young player well-deserved accolades and led to links with many Premier League teams as he seeks to advance his career. Chris Wilder, the manager of Boro, provided Spurs supporters with an update on the status of his defender's move at the conclusion of the previous month.
