Barcelona has offered Leeds United €68 million for the Raphinha.
According to reports, Leeds United will accept Barcelona's offer to recruit Raphinha, an attacker, which may total €68 million (£57.7 million) with add-ons.
The 25-year-old has not travelled with the Whites on their preseason tour of Australia, and Chelsea, who purportedly accepted a £55 million deal at the end of last month, has been heavily connected with him.
Raphinha, though, has been stalling for a transfer to Camp Nou all summer, and it now appears that Barcelona has made a bid for the Brazil international.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Barcelona has made a formal offer to purchase Raphinha that includes a €58 million (£49.2 million) down payment and the possibility of add-ons raising the total to €68 million (£57.7 million).
The attacker's transfer to Catalonia has reached the "final stages," according to Romano, who also says Leeds are prepared to accept this offer. All parties are awaiting Barca's ability to register the player before the attacker can sign.
Barca are currently unable to register any of their new additions, including Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen, due to their financial situation, but the La Liga club is still hopeful that they can finalise a deal for Raphinha and register all three summer signings in time for the 2022–23 season.
In his two seasons at the West Yorkshire club, Raphinha has amassed 17 goals and 12 assists in 67 appearances across all competitions, making him an indispensable first-team player who helped Leeds avoid relegation from the Premier League in 2021–22.
