The 25-year-transfer old's to the Catalan giants is said to have been agreed upon at a sum with the Premier League team that may increase to €68 million (£57.7 million) with add-ons. Although Leeds accepted a proposal from Chelsea for Raphinha as well, Barca appears to have won the race for the Brazilian, who is now getting closer to completing his dream move to Catalonia.

Rodri agrees to a longer deal with Manchester City till 2027.

Midfielder Rodri has extended his contract with Manchester City by three years, keeping him with the team through June 2027, according to the club's announcement. Since joining Pep Guardiola's squad from Atletico Madrid for £62.5 million in the summer of 2019, the 26-year-old Spain international has consistently been one of the first names on the team roster. For the Citizens, Rodri has made 151 games, starting 134 of them. He has won five trophies, including back-to-back Premier League championships. Rodri gave the following explanations for his decision to extend his contract in an interview with the club's official website: "The finest career choice I ever made was to join City in 2019.   According to reports, Leeds United will accept Barcelona's offer to recruit Raphinha, an attacker, which may total €68 million (£57.7 million) with add-ons.   The 25-year-old has not travelled with the Whites on their preseason tour of Australia, and Chelsea, who purportedly accepted a £55 million deal at the end of last month, has been heavily connected with him. Raphinha, though, has been stalling for a transfer to Camp Nou all summer, and it now appears that Barcelona has made a bid for the Brazil international.
